As a SEND teacher, you will plan and teach lessons, work with small groups and individual students, and provide support to help students develop confidence and independence. You will also collaborate with various professionals, such as medical staff and counsellors, and may work in different educational settings including a mainstream school, a special needs school or a pupil referral unit.
