The past few months have been very exciting at SupplyWell, with various developments enabling the organisation to begin to close 2020 on an extremely optimistic note.

The recent announcement of the £100k InnovateUK grant is just one of the many reasons the organisation is looking forward to the future. Another indication of the company’s growth is the two new starters who have recently joined the team. Sophia and Louis are keen to grow alongside SupplyWell, as the education ‘tech for good’ company grows strength to strength!

The Liverpool and Merseyside area is bursting with talented individuals who are eager to start working, a difficult task in regular years but even more so now with many young people struggling to navigate the intimidating waters of the Covid-19 workscape. SupplyWell is in a period of growth and has been able to give opportunities to two new starters who are eager to start their careers.

Welcoming Sophia

Sophia has started working as a ‘Communications and Marketing Executive’ after recently graduating from the University of Liverpool with a degree in ‘Communication and Media with a Year in Industry’. She said: “I am so excited to be joining SupplyWell at such a key time in their growth! I am keen to help their endeavour of building a fairer future for teachers and schools, alongside learning more about revolutionary Ed-Tech. This year has been difficult and I am grateful that SupplyWell has spotted the potential in me as a recent graduate. I can’t wait to start this new journey!” – Sophia Riley, Communications and Marketing Executive.

Welcoming Louis

Louis has joined the technology development team working as a ‘Junior Developer’. He said: “Previously, I was completing a Level 4 Software Development Apprenticeship, working with clients on a multitude of websites and working with a team contributing to the development of bespoke Web Apps. Joining SupplyWell will be an amazing opportunity for me to work for a company that is passionate about its mission while enabling me to grow as a developer. I am excited to be working with new technologies, on top of having the opportunity to have a big impact on the projects I will be working on.” – Louis Johnstone, Junior Developer

Thoughts from SupplyWell

Michael Heverin, the Co-Founder and CEO of SupplyWell has said:  “We are delighted to welcome Louis and Sophia as the latest additions to the SupplyWell team. 2020 has been challenging for everyone and here at SupplyWell, we are pleased to be able to take on board two talented and keen young professionals. They are excellent examples of the motivated and eager individuals that the North West Region has to offer and we are looking forward to growing as an organisation while also supporting and encouraging growing talent. It is always fantastic to be able to progress as a business and cultivate a great team of like-minded people who are as passionate about ensuring happiness within teaching as we are. Being able to recruit is a reflection of our steady growth and development; we look forward to welcoming more talented individuals in the future.”
